Admission

For students applying to undergraduate programs, they need to either 1) contact their high school and request that it forward their official school record, or 2) forward their GED high-school equivalency test scores to Post's Office of Admissions.

Transfer college students who have a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or higher from an accredited two-year or four-year educational institution, may transfer credits from courses with a grade of C- or above.

Admission to the graduate programs at the University is based on the applicant's academic record. Generally, students applying to graduate programs at Post must have:

• Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education
• Evidence of progressive related work experience
• Final undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0. Significant work experience may overcome a lower GPA
• Ability to do graduate level work as evidenced by two academic or professional recommendations

In addition, some programs require students to submit a typed personal statement with their application. And in some cases, a personal interview may be required for entry.

Five Features that Make Post Stand Apart

1. Accelerated Program. Students studying in one of Post's online programs can finish a bachelor's degree in 18 months or a master's degree in 12-24 months with the University's 8-week accelerated courses that are offered six times every year.
2. On-Campus Curriculum. Online students receive virtually the same education as onsite students at Post. The curriculum for on-campus students is the same for online students. Online students are taught by the on-campus faculty who hold PhD degrees and have practical experience in their areas of expertise.
3. Small Class Sizes. Post makes it a point to keep their class sizes small so that students will get more individualized attention and will have an opportunity to interact with their professors and fellow classmates.
4. Real-World Knowledge. Post University's classes focus on giving students real-world knowledge so that they can immediately use their new skills in the workforce.
5. Pre-Admission Credits. Prospective students are allowed to begin taking courses at Post University even while applying for admission. Applicants are permitted to take up to 12 credits while completing the application process.
