Admission

Capella's website does not provide detailed information regarding admissions requirements. Thus, prospective students should directly contact the school's admissions office for additional information.

However, in general, students applying for undergraduate admission into one of Capella's associate or bachelor-level programs may be required to submit a high school diploma, GED or its equivalent. Additionally, some applicants may need to undergo additional testing.

1. Counselors. Experience enrollment counselors and financial aid counselors are readily available to help students map out the best course of study while optimizing their financial resources.
2. One Week Trial. Prospective students are allowed the opportunity to explore whether online learning is right for them by signing up for a free 1-week mini-course. The course is conducted in the same format as a standard credit courses. This is helpful for students who are unsure about online learning.
3. Open Enrollment. Open enrollment serves two purposes. First, many students who may not have otherwise been able to pursue higher studies will have the opportunity to do so through Capella.
