Online K-12 Schools in California
California offers K-12 online programs. Students study primarily math, language arts, music, history and art. Physical education, foreign languages and AP classes are offered as well. California law requires students to meet with teachers at least four times a year. Usually this is performed through field trips, workshops and meet ups. California law also requires schools to provide 180 days of instruction per school year. All students in K-12 will be tested in these assessments: STAR (2-11), CST (4, 7), Physical Fitness (5, 7 , 9), CAHSEE (10-12).
